How the crew works
Hector leads most of the local jobs personally, walking through the house or apartment with the customer before the crew starts loading. That walkthrough is where we figure out anything unusual, a narrow staircase, a piece of furniture that will not fit through a doorway, an HOA rule about moving hours, so nobody is solving that problem for the first time with the truck already parked outside.
The same people who show up on move day are the ones who packed and planned it, rather than a dispatcher assigning whoever is free that morning. That consistency is part of why repeat customers ask for the same crew on their next move.
What we focus on
We would rather run a smaller number of moves well than take on more than the crew can handle carefully. That means turning down same-day requests sometimes if we cannot give the job the attention it needs, rather than squeezing it in and rushing.
Protecting the property matters as much as protecting the furniture. Every job includes floor runners and door padding as standard, not as an upsell, because a scratched wall or a dented door frame costs the customer regardless of whether the couch made it fine.
Where we work
Irvine is home base, and most of our work covers the cities immediately around it, Tustin, Costa Mesa, Newport Beach, Lake Forest, Santa Ana, and Mission Viejo. We also run longer moves up and down California when a customer is relocating further than Orange County.
Apartment complexes are a big part of what we do, since Irvine has so many of them, and that means we spend a fair amount of time coordinating with property management on elevator times and loading zones before a job ever starts.
How we quote a job
We look at the job, the address, the amount of furniture, and any building-specific factors like elevators or HOA rules before giving a plan for the day. We would rather ask a few extra questions upfront than adjust the crew size after arriving and finding a bigger job than expected.
Long-distance jobs get quoted with the route and drive time factored in, since a move to another part of California is a different kind of planning than a short Irvine to Tustin hop.
